Have questions? We’ve got answers.

  • How does the program work?

    • Sword offers a variety of solutions to help predict, avoid, and treat pain and other conditions. Once you enroll, you are assigned a Clinical Specialist who holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. This person will work with you to develop a program tailored to your condition, goals, and needs.
    • If you are enrolled in Digital Physical Therapy, your Doctor of Physical Therapy is paired with Sword’s Digital Therapist, accessible via a tablet that will be mailed to you for free. Our Digital Therapist uses motion sensors, computer vision technology, and artificial intelligence to guide exercises to completion, provide real-time feedback, and share details of your session so that your Doctor of Physical Therapy can make adjustments to your program as needed.
    • If you are enrolled in Bloom, a Pelvic Health Specialist will work with you to address pelvic, bladder, and bowel health. As part of the Bloom program, we will ship you your free Bloom kit, which includes an intravaginal pod that provides instant biofeedback to ensure exercises are performed correctly. You can then follow your customized pelvic-exercise program from the comfort and privacy of your home.
  • How do I sign up?

Signing up is easy. After confirming your eligibility on our website, simply create an account and download the Sword app. Inside the app, you will see the Sword solutions available for you to use.

  • What happens after I sign up?

If you are participating in Digital Physical Therapy or Bloom, you will receive an email with the date and time of your intro video call with a Clinical Specialist. If you can’t find the email in your inbox, please check the spam or the promotions folder of your email account. If you’ve checked your spam folder and still haven’t received an email from us, please contact us at help@swordhealth.com.

  • I am already signed up. How do I log in to my program?

The Sword mobile app is the centralized hub for your program, where you can track your progress for Digital Physical Therapy and Bloom. Make sure you have the Sword app downloaded (available for download from Google Play or Apple App Store), so you can log in from there.

  • What is the time commitment?

For most of our programs, we recommend completing an average of 3-5 sessions per week. However, the exact time it takes to complete your program will be personal to you, and the time it takes to implement lifestyle changes is difficult to measure. Fortunately, our digital format allows you to take your program at your own pace, so you can complete your session when you want, where you want.

  • Can I work on multiple joints or programs at the same time? What if I have more than one condition?

It’s best to treat one part of your body at a time. If you have multiple conditions that you’d like to treat, we suggest choosing the condition that limits you the most. Once you’re able to find relief from this issue, you can begin another program and target a different part of the body.

  • How do I know if I’m eligible for a Sword program?

The Sword platform is available to eligible members through employers and health plans. Some of our partners also offer the program to domestic partners, dependents, and retirees utilizing the employer-sponsored health plan. If you are not eligible at this time, please let your employer or health plan know you’d like to try Sword Health.

  • I am not sure how to answer some questions during the onboarding process. How do I get help?

If you have any questions during your onboarding process, you can always access help from someone on our Support team by clicking on the chat bubble on the bottom right corner of the window. If you prefer to email someone and come back to finishing your enrollment, you can also email help@swordhealth.com.

  • I have a technical issue with my Sword kit. How do I get help?

Please send us an email at help@swordhealth.com and someone will get back to you shortly.

  • How do I request accommodation services for completion of my Sword program?

Members who require accommodations should notify their designated Doctor of Physical Therapy. A request for accommodations can also be made by contacting Sword Health at +1 (385) 308-8034 or help@swordhealth.com. Upon receiving a request for accommodations, Sword will determine the appropriate accommodations needed to ensure equal access within 3-5 business days.
